This means that we have the proper test equipment, training and experience to properly calibrate your display, projector and surround system to industry standards. Call us today to set up an appointment! Read on for more information:

Audio Calibration

So you spend your hard earned money on a Home Theater Surround system. Why not get the most out of it by having it professionally calibrated? For $149.00 an HAA trained professional will come to your home with a $3500.00 audio meter. Using this meter, we will check for the following things:

Levels: We will check to make sure that the levels or Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of all 5 or 7 channels match properly

Phasing: We will check to make sure that all 5 or 7 speakers are connected in phase with each other

Distance: We will set the distance on all 5 or 7 speakers, if your receiver supports this option

Frequency Response: Using the Real Time Analyzer (RTA) feature of our audio meter, we will check for major peaks or valleys in the frequency response of your system. If we find problems, we will make recommendations on how to improve them. Many times, simply moving a speaker, changing the Subwoofer crossover point or moving a piece of furniture will drastically improve frequency anomalies.

Video Calibration

TV and Display manufacturers purposely misadjust their displays! They intentionally make them too bright and make the colors hot. Why do they do this? So that when you go to your local TV retailer and you see 10 TVs in a row, theirs will look as good or better than the next. Proper calibration will really make the picture look more natural. For $199.00 an ADI trained professional will come to your home with over $7500.00 worth of test equipment and perform the following on your TV, Flat Panel Display or Projector:

Size & Position: Adjust the video size & position so that the picture is not cut off in any way

Brightness: More properly called "Black Level". Used in conjunction with the contrast to make sure that detail is not lost between dark and bright scenes. We may need to get in to a special Service Menu to adjust this completely

Contrast: More properly called "White Level". Used in conjunction with the brightness to make sure that detail is not lost between dark and bright scenes. We may need to get in to a special Service Menu to adjust this completely

Color: Adjust the color to ISF standards so that the overall color including flesh tones look more natural
