Specifications For Square In-Wall Speaker Model Numer WS-SQ800 The WS-SQ800 is a two-way In-Wall/In-Ceiling coaxial speaker system employing an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The tweeter is mounted in the center of the woofer, and can be swiveled in any direction. This allows you to adjust the tweeter to overcome room anomalies. Coaxial speakers work well mounted in ceilings, since the woofer and tweeter maintain the same relationship no matter where you are in the room. A square frame speaker usually looks better mounted in a wall. The crossover was designed to provide smooth, flat response, and uses a 6 dB per octave slope on the woofer, and a 12 dB per octave slope on the tweeter, resulting in 12 dB mirrored slopes. The plastic frame and steel grill are white, and can easily be painted to match your decor. The speaker can be easily mounted by cutting a hole in the wall, mounting the speaker in the hole, and tightening the screws to sandwich the drywall between the frame and mounting fingers.
